We are looking for multiple Fabricators/Welders/Fitters to join our team in Dunedin. If you are talented and passionate about your trade or are a journeyman then look no further.

We are a Dunedin home grown company that has been in business for 10 years. We specialise in fabrication and welding as the name suggests. We have a machine shop, CNC profiler, Press brake, 2 heavy trucks (one with a crane) and 4 generator/welder trucks. We predominately service the Dunedin area but also have valued customers around the South Island. Above all we are an awesome team of like minded people.

What we are looking for:
 
• Tradesman or Journeyman (3 years industry experience)
• Someone who will uphold our company values
• Can think quickly on their feet and react to varied situations and customer related problems
• Consent to pre-employment drug testing

Job Description

The Tradesperson forms the backbone of the company. This critical role enables Site Weld to do what we do best, supply our customers with the best possible welding and fabrication services in Dunedin. As a Tradesperson you will be required to operate under the direction and supervision of a Leading Hand and the Works Manager. Your duties will vary day to day but will generally involve preparation, welding, fabricating and assembly.

Pay Range from $27.76 to $38.00 per hour (dependant on skill set matrix) with time and a half after 40 hours as required.

As a guide, the parties expect that where work is available, the employee’s hours of work shall normally be 40 per week, worked between 7:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, both days inclusive (“normal hours”).  It is expected you will not work less than 30 hours average per week during the year.
